an ensemble of actors and musicians armed with a collection of artists notebooks created this original, dialogue-free performance entwining the early intuitions of marcel duchamp, paul klee, mona hatoum, bill viola, and louise bourgeois. two video projectors and a tv monitor fed by an array of VHS decks and a live-feed camera visually accompanied the massive found-object percussion of andy fife and ranging sound design of michael kraskin. projections were on two moving screens and reflective plastic.
a lush visual and auditory experiment in sensory performance. experienced in a former army barracks.
